'Acceptance' Articles

We fail to learn from any experience we do not accept. Any experience you have that does not bring you peace, you failed to accept. To the degree you feel removed from a peaceful state, you have a list of rejections.

It’s impossible to change without self acceptance. You can know when to rest and when to take action when you accept that your life is all life, and that you don’t have to outrace the world itself. It’s not a footrace.

“Acceptance is not submission; it is acknowledgement of the facts of a situation. Then deciding what you’re going to do about it.” Kathleen Casey Theisen

“The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.” Nathaniel Branden

“Only by acceptance of the past, can you alter it.” T.S. Eliot (American born English Editor, Playwright, Poet and Critic, 1888-1965)

“Happiness can exist only in acceptance.” George Orwell (English Novelist and Essayist, 1903-1950)

Essence Of Acceptance

I see you sister, and in fact today’s topic is about seeing, more specifically about acceptance. What most people think is acceptance is not. They think they accept something if they acknowledge its presence. Acceptance is like a birds nest building behaviour. You include some ideas into your nest or perception, and you “fail” to include others. This is natural. You can’t include everything, but that’s not the essence of acceptance. It isn’t just about inclusion. It’s about what you believe regarding anything you see, the role you assign it. You can be forced to see many things you don’t… Seek More

Accept It’s Possible

I have been able to affect and help what most other people have considered “unreachable” people. Those who were supposedly too stubborn, hateful, or even mentally ill to hear reason from the general point of view. Most people reject these people. But the biggest portion of these people are who they are, and where they are, for a reason that if you accept, then you can either anticipate what you need to do for yourself in order to deal with them, or even have enough insight to perhaps guide them to a less destructive role. It is hard to be… Seek More

See The Now

See the now and not the future. The secret to seeing the future is realizing there is no future. What you can imagine happening will not likely happen. Will it? Is there no pattern to recognise? There is, and this pattern is why you can manifest. But you can’t manifest while you are busy futuring. You can maybe make a good guess? No. If you guess then you aren’t accepting. The idea that you have to guess is an automatic rejection. We know what it is now, and then we’ll know what it is in the next now. People have… Seek More

What Is Acceptance?

Acceptance is today’s topic. Anyone like to share their understandings on acceptance? Letting things be as they are. Does anyone actually do that? Rarely if ever. Does this refusal to let things be as they are change anything? No, it generally makes things worse for all involved. It makes us angry. Our expectations distort our perceptions. It just changes ourselves? Usually, it doesn’t change the self either. The ego is the motivation for rejection. Example. Apparently, there are those who don’t much esteem my efforts. This is understandable and acceptable. There are others who would seek to be a part… Seek More

Self Acceptance

Can I take any action of any kind without acceptance of how things are? Can I accept anything how it is, if I cannot accept how I myself am? Not properly. Exactly. Miscreation instead of recreation. Recreation is a much disrespected pursuit, but let’s look at the word re-creation. Can we create anything from no prior substance? I would say no. Any creation you do, any action you take stems from self, and any chance for personal growth or self optimization is with self knowledge, which can only come from self acceptance. We create everything from nothing? We create everything… Seek More

Your Life Is All Life

I feel acceptance relates to forgiveness. I would agree. A lot of people have a hard time forgiving others and an even worse time forgiving themselves. Nature itself is very forgiving of human psychological limitations, though I would say those are not dictated strictly by biology. If biology were the definition of human limitations, I shouldn’t be able to do these events or comprehend what you say my friends, as the encoding center of my brain was damaged. How do we accept what makes us very sad? Like forgiveness, it’s the realization that it’s not actually about you, that simple.… Seek More
