'Christ' Articles

Christ was trying to show the Jews that the law is not only written, but is within when one connects to the spirit. Christ’s noble truths he widdled down to one, God is love and though art God. The term love didn’t have such a narrow view, it meant for all intents and purposes peace. That in finding peace you find God. His message dealt with “transcendence”.

“What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul.” Jesus Christ

“Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.” Jesus Christ

“The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.” Jesus Christ

Christianity and Other Faith

Christianity has been around 2009 years give or take 30. Has it advanced us spiritually? In a sense, yes. The dissonance caused has, and even the message at the heart of the doctrine which had a hand in inspiring Islam. Though the big three (Muslim, Christianity, Judaism) despaired their fourth brother, the Yezidi faith (non Islamic Kurds) and their faith is very old. These faiths cross pollinated a lot stemming from the broader Semitic class of faiths. The dissonance is that Christianity was a schism. Not even authorized by its leader. He spoke of no agenda to break from the… Seek More

Mystical Approach to Christianity

The Christ Consciousness movement is a technically heretical view of Christian dogma. It’s sort of neo-Gnosticism. It focuses on the Christ and the Holy Spirit rather than the person of Jesus the Christ as a phenomenon, and had a Greek emphasis. The word literally means christening or christened one. In a sense, it’s like the eastern concept of a Buddha. Gnosis is a Greek word as is Christ, and Gnosis is the idea that knowledge of self is knowledge of God. Really in a sense it is adhering to a few passages in the Bible. A more mystical approach? Yes.… Seek More

Jesus Christ

Christ was a living person? Well, this is where people get confused. Christ isn’t a name, and even old Gnostics saw the messiah as a spirit. Swedenborgian Christianity believes that the prophecy is already fulfilled, but Christ was socially a title. Even King Herod who was King of the Jews bore the title Christ. Though how in touch he was with the Holy Spirit is questionable. It’s not clearly established, but the likelihood is that the man referred to as Jesus was named something else prior to his ministry, and may have been an Essene monk. The teachings of the Essenes might… Seek More

An Angry Jesus

Christ’s noble truths he widdled down to one, and the Christ Consciousness movement emphasizes this. God is love and though art God. The term love didn’t have such a narrow view, it meant for all intents and purposes peace. That in finding peace you find God, not in finding rationalization and he speaks heavily against that. Not in finding a body of followers. The “apocrypha” are writings that were from the same sources, but were determined to be not of God by the members of the supposed apostolic succession long after they were penned. The tradition was almost strictly oral… Seek More
